Let’s take a better look at what’s at stake here. You might think that taking the risk of living a “not-that-exciting-yet-liveable-life” (NTEY2L) isn’t really a risk at all. You might even say that it’s somewhat insulting to those who live a terrible life and for who a NTEY2L would be like switching from economy to business class.
Well, sure. Now say you’ve only ever taken business. No matter who you are, you’ll get accustomed to the nice seats and private TV, and, sooner or later, you’ll start wondering how better you’d feel travelling in first.
You can try and fend off that craving, finding it indecent to want more then what you already have. The usual way to do that is to look down the lane instead of right in front you, and take pride in not being at the end of the plane. The problem is that ultimately, you’ll find yourself suffering from a bad neck pain. Irritated, you’ll end up buying yourself a first class fare which you clearly can’t afford; upset your not-that-hot-yet-doable-wife and end up getting a divorce.
If instead, you had been honest with yourself, looked straight ahead of you, and did what it took to ride the plane first-class-style, you would have kept a healthy neck, and probably your wife too.
I did miss out on one thing here. You could also be one those degenerates who actually go back to economy from business arguing that they prefer the truthfulness and authenticity of a stiffer chair. This behaviour, which was best observed in the 70s, is not only not hip anymore, but truly insulting to those in economy who didn’t have the choice but to sit on the more truthful and authentic stiffer chairs.
Well, that’s basically where I stand. I’ve never taken anything else but business and I firmly believe that first class would suit me better. The only difference between my challenge and getting to first class is that it’s not about money, it’s about thrill. I’m not going to stand here and watch my life become nothing more than what it already is. And I have 364 days left to do something about it.

Nice story...
How are you gonna feel, once you're in first class, seeing some people have their private jet?? That's going to be hard...
the whole plane thing and first class was just a metaphore... of course I'm planning on getting a private jet ;)
